Lyrical storytelling, folk, music hall, apocalypse humour, karaoke re-appropriation
It is hard to describe the genre...
no subject is too bizarre.

"Kate performed some of her Walking the Pipe songs on the Acoustic Stage at CoCoMAD, an annual event held in Cotteridge Park, Birmingham - in the summer of 2022.
Her performance was interrupted by a sudden downpour. Kate being a 'show must go on' breed of artist took the opportunity to rearrange the stage to make room for people (and particularly families) to come into the tent to shelter from the elements. This made for a captivating and intimate performance which was enjoyed by young and old alike.  A truly memorable occasion which I was privileged to witness."
